Our Ferndown baby swimming lessons are run from a wonderful pool in a purpose built brand new facility opened in 2019. Located on Ringwood Road near to the large Tesco, the pool is perfect for babies and preschoolers alike due to the lovely warm water and gentle stepped entry. Lots of free parking nearby and lovely spacious changing facilities. There is also plenty of space poolside for spectators to enjoy the experience too.
Our beautiful swimming pool in Ferndown is easily accessible from Bournemouth, Poole, Ringwood, Wimborne and surrounding suburbs.
All the below term dates are confirmed and will be taking place at our pool in Ferndown, Dorset. Swimming lessons are 30 minutes & run consecutively in the time slots below. Children will go into the most appropriate class dependent upon your child’s age and experience.
We love teaching at the Ferndown swimming pool, a purpose-built facility for teaching young children. Heated at 32C, this pool is really convenient, with great changing facilities and loads of free parking nearby.

My baby son and I love baby squids swimming classes! The classes are the prefect length for him, and he loves all the exercises during the class using such fun and brightly coloured props, with songs and meeting other baby friends. It really is a highlight of our week, and the classes are really well designed for teaching him to feel comfortable in the water and for starting to learn how to swim. We absolutely LOVE Baby Squids. We have just started taking our second child after taking our first a few years ago. The sessions are well planned, the songs are very catchy and the teachers are always friendly and enthusiastic. Not only is swimming a really important thing to start young (my daughter is 4 months) but it’s such a lovely bonding time too. She really enjoys her time in the pool.
