Our Exeter baby swimming lessons are run from a fabulous hydrotherapy pool at Ellen Tinkham School, Hollow Lane, Pinhoe. Close to the M5, this location is easily accessible from Exmouth, Honiton, Tiverton and nearby villages.

Ellen Tinkham School offers great access with lots of parking. Swimming classes are held in a hydrotherapy walk-in swimming pool, kept at 34^oC – so perfect for young children learning to swim. The pool depth makes it ideal for baby swimming lessons. There’s a small spectators area for visiting parents. And to help make things easier for you we provide a travel cot to keep young ones in whilst you’re getting changed.

All the below term dates are confirmed and will be taking place at Ellen Tinkham School pool in Exeter, Devon. Swimming classes are 30 minutes & run consecutively in the time slots below. Children will go into the most appropriate class dependent upon your childs age and experience.

Our Instructors

All of our teachers understand young children and have a huge amount of experience supporting a variety of abilities. Each of them specialise in the baby, toddler and pre-schooler age groups. Our swimming teachers are the main reason so many of our Squidlets come back term after term.

Kristina

Mum to Taylor & Alexa, and brilliant with all ages. Kristina loves her job and adores teaching and gets a real buzz from seeing the little ones progress from babies through to independent swimmers.

Katie

Originally a customer of Baby Squids with her little boy Reggie, and watching his ever growing confidence in the water, Kate took the step to train as a swimming instructor. She loves to see the confidence for both the children and parents grow stronger week after week, and watch everybody have a fun and happy experience whilst learning a very important life skill.
