My Name is Nicky and I am the proud owner of Baby Squids Salisbury and Andover, and along with a team of amazing teachers we run classes most days of the week around the Salisbury area. I have been working for Baby Squids since 2015, and I feel very passionate about bringing fun and engaging classes to children between the ages of 2 months – 4 years.
I have two boys, who are like chalk and cheese and they had very separate needs when it came to their swimming classes. This continues to inspire me to ensure that our classes are aimed at children as individuals, and their journeys are tailored to their own development and personalities so that your little one’s experience is the best it can be. We work really hard behind the scenes to create lessons that will be fun, creative and progressive, and our aim is to bring water confidence to every child that joins us, no matter what their experience.

We have a variety of swimming lessons in Wiltshire. Our STA qualified swimming teachers run lessons in Salisbury, Andover, Warminster and the surrounding area. We teach babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (aged 0 – 4) across these swimming pools.

We love teaching at Odstock Health & Fitness at Salisbury Hospital because its a great local facility well designed for young children to learn to swim. Nice warm pool, great changing facilities and really convenient location make this one of our faves!

Welcome to Ford Pool where we run small classes in a private pool. It’s a lovely and warm pool that is perfect for teaching babies and children from 3 months old.

Our classes at Rainbow Lagoon are great because the pool sits at a lovely 34C and is a consistent depth of 1.2m which is just perfect for teaching babies and toddlers to swim! Coupled with a lovely viewing gallery we couldn’t ask for more!

A lovely warm hydro pool at Icknield School is perfectly suited for babies from birth up to 2 years old. Class sizes are kept small to a maximum of 4 children.

We know that from newborn through to school age, your child develops very fast, hence our Salisbury and Andover baby swimming lessons are built around four major Milestones, specific to their current age and ability. We love it when babies attend from birth, but we welcome all abilities and love it you join our Salisbury children’s swimming classes at any point during the middle of a term (remember we pride ourselves on being flexible!). We like to work together with parents and carers to build your child’s swimming skills and confidence, and are more than happy to talk through any specific concerns you may have before joining us.
