Our Harrogate baby swimming lessons are run in a wonderful pool at Ashville Sports Centre, Harrogate. It has plenty of car parking and is located on the edge of Harrogate, making it easy to access via the A61 from Ripon, the A59 from Skipton or the A61 from Leeds.
Our Harrogate swimming lessons are held in a pool heated at 30-31C, so we recommend younger babies wear wetsuits. This is a newly refurbished sports centre, with large changing rooms with baby stations in both the men’s and women’s changing rooms. While the school do not allow poolside access for spectators, there is a café on site, so you can grab a coffee and treat!
All the below term dates are confirmed and will be taking place at Ashville Sports Centre pool in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Swimming classes are 30 minutes & run consecutively in the time slots below. Children will go into the most appropriate class dependent upon your childs age and experience.

Want to keep up the activity after swimming? The Little Bees soft play area is less than a 10 minute drive away, and boasts a lovely café for adults to relax at. Alternatively, if you’re looking to get outside then the scenic Ripley Castle is only a few miles from Harrogate and features some stunning gardens to walk through, and a beautiful 14th century castle to explore.
We love teaching at Ashville, it is a sports centre that has undergone a significant refurbishment and is such a clean and well kept space! All the staff are friendly and approachable, there is also a plethora of on-site parking, so you’ll never struggle to find a space.
